What’s the plan
The plan is to document my guitar progress. I want to record my daily exercises and put them on youtube. It’s not about music, I know nothing about music theory and I can’t improvise. All I want is to try myself and see if I can achieve my goals. At the beginning exercises will be played slowly, at lower tempos. When I feel comfortable with it – I will raise it a bit. I want to establish good habits from the start. I’m self-taught, no teachers. Only me, my guitar, books and metronome. All tips and constructive criticism are welcomed and appreciated!
I’m going to focus on 5 aspects of guitar technique. Each of them will be represented in a diagram. I will be giving myself scores depending on how fast I’m playing.
My goal is to reach:
120 – 160 bpm – 16th note triplets (six notes per click)
160 – 200 bpm – 16th notes (four notes per click)
